Alexis Penney is an artist, teacher and spirit worker specializing in holistic embodiment, energy medicine and spiritual empowerment and the owner and lead caretaker at Inner Space.
Born and raised in the KC metro area, Alexis completed their first YTT in 2013, teaching professionally in NYC, the SF Bay Area and Los Angeles before heeding the call to return to the Midwest. Alexis draws on a life-long apprenticeship to service and spirit and a decade of professional employ as teacher and care-taker of sacred space, with experience of many diverse paths, including music, drag and performance art, wicca, western mysticism, yoga and the Taoist martial arts, is an active student of the Cycle of Transformation, a shamanic initiatory program taught by Christina Lee Pratt and a leader in the Cycle Community.
Through their teaching and private practice, Star Service Holistic, Alexis endeavors to support students in reclaiming their innate and interconnected sense of power, purpose and wholeness, rooted in a regenerative relationship with earth, land, body and spirit. The vision they tend through all of their work is a world where queer and trans people remember their belonging, artists remember the necessity of their gifts and all people remember earth-honoring community as their birthright.
